Study: 99% of Canadian Honey Analyzed Contaminated with Herbicide Glyphosate
The Detox Project does independent glyphosate residue free certification which verifies that the product/s do not contain the World’s most used herbicide. They use a third party ISO 17025 accredited laboratory to test the products to make sure they do not contain glyphosate residues. I see that some honey has been certified, personally I have been using Heavenly Organics Neem honey from that list so far and Uncle Matts Orange Juice since its on the list as glyphosate free. For some reason Uncle Matts doesnt put the logo on its product yet despite being certified but Heavenly Organics does. Healthy Traditions says it tests for glyphosate as well so perhaps might like to certify also since in one of the studies mentioned: Eleven of the tested honey samples were
organic; five of the organic honey samples, or forty-five percent (45%), contained glyphosate concentrations above the method LOQ,
with a range of 26 to 93 ppb and a mean of 50 ppb. Of the fifty-eight non-organic honey samples, thirty-six samples, or sixty-two percent
(62%), contained glyphosate concentrations above the method LOQ, with a range of 17 to 163 ppb and a mean of 66 ppb.
