UCLA Medical Doctors and LA County Medically Kidnap Paramedic and Film Producer's DaughterTammi Stefano of The National Safe Child Show recently interviewed Jewels Stein, a mother who had her daughter taken by Los Angeles County’s Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) following accusations of Munchausen by proxy by UCLA medical physicians. Jewels Stein is a paramedic with the Fire Department who has an extensive medical background. She works on movie sets, and she is currently producing a documentary. She raised four of her own children and two step children. On the day her 15 year old daughter was to be discharged from the hospital after a successful surgery that allowed her daughter to eat food again instead being fed by a tube inserted directly into her stomach, Jewels Stein watched in horror as they took her daughter away from her because she refused to let her be put on powerful psych drugs. She was escorted out of the hospital while still in her pajamas, and left on the street without even her car keys. This is her story that she wants the world to hear.
UCLA Medical Doctors and LA County Medically Kidnap Paramedic and Film Producer's DaughterWe had a very close experience with Herman in Houston. We went round and round with Doctors. Same type stuff. Vomiting after eating, gastro emptying test, urodynamics, mris etc!!!!!! Found out she had a PDA, Tethered Spinal Chord (which they did surgery for and after she quit throwing up food due to gastroparesis), Chiari malformation, and a rare Genetic disorder that they have only found 2 other children similiar in the US. Even after they did spinal cord surgery, scheduled heart surgery, did lumbar puncture, and had MRI showing demylenation of the White matter in the brain, they still tried to have Cps take children. One because I threatened to sue them. But the real reason was to get the grants to do research and keep the parents from having a say in child's treatments. Cost us right at 16k to fight CPS off. In looking further into it. Cps has a quota of one case a day per case worker. They get double pay from Hospital and actually have Cps "hit squads" to look through all files watching for potential cases. If your child is medically complex, or has a rare disease and you happen to be at a Research Hospital....you can bet you will get a visit. This is just a very brief view of our case.
