The Adams family is yet another family that has fallen victim to the disturbing trend of “medical kidnapping” which is occurring across the United States. Medical kidnapping is a term used to describe children being taken into state custody after parents disagree with a course of treatment recommended by a doctor, or in the case of the Adams seeking a second opinion and/or a change in medical care. Upon being informed of the same, the physician then places a “hotline” call to child protective services and reports “medical abuse” by the parent.

    oh oh Dr Martin tell me about it, its like all these attorneys are afraid to protect these innocent lives, they are in with the devil and ripping families apart.     You cannot sue the Federal Government for the actions of the State Government. Since the Federal Government is not the one involved, they would not be defendants. The only way to get it done is suing the states.

    Maybe some group with the resources should research the financial aspect of these kidnappings. Maintaining children with certain medical conditions can be financially lucrative for hospitals and clinics. If a pattern can be established showing a link between children whose medical care garners the hospitals substantial amounts of money to those being medically kidnapped, than that can be exposed.     The ONLY thing that will stop this is a class-action suit filed against the Federal government, not a local bill here or there. This is systemic, country-wide, and only a federal suit demanding massive money damages and reform of the medical and so-called child-protective services can stop this appalling, growing, and MASSIVE abuse. Is there not ONE civil rights attorney in the USA willing to take this on?
